1. Admissions
- The Management reserves the right to admit or refuse pupils seeking admission to the school.
- No child less than 3 years old on the first day of the academic year will be admitted to PRE-KG. At the time of admission, the following certificates should be attached with the application form: (a) Birth Certificate; (b) Community Certificate. Once admitted, no change of date of birth or community certificate will be accepted; (c) Original Transfer Certificate from the school last attended, with the last date for submission being 30 June.
- Pupils seeking admission in higher classes may be tested on the syllabus of the standard below the one to which they seek admission.
- Admission is formally completed only when the form has been duly filled in and submitted to the office along with the required original documents, applicable fees are paid, and the form is signed by the Principal. Payment of fees, appearing for an entrance test, or attending an interview does not necessarily mean that admission is granted.
- Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Any attempt to use influence, unfair means or recommendation for admission will lead to automatic disqualification. The school does not have any agents for admission.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance or for any reason whatsoever.
- The above non-refund policy also applies to students who re-apply for admission.
2. Withdrawals & Transfer Certificates
- Application for a Transfer Certificate must be made in writing by the parents in the prescribed form.
- If a student is not going to continue in the school for the following academic year, the school office should be informed in writing before 30 April.
- When a student is withdrawn from the school, all outstanding dues must be cleared. The Transfer Certificate will be issued only after settlement of all dues.
- Where parents have obtained a divorce through a court, the school requires the relevant child-related document before issuing the Transfer Certificate.
3. Dismissals
- The School Management reserves the right to dismiss students who continuously fail to make satisfactory academic progress or whose conduct is detrimental to the orderly life of the school.
- Use of, or attempt to use, unfair means in examinations, tests or assignments is sufficient cause for dismissal.
- Students who engage in political propaganda, organize fellow students into political factions on school premises, or otherwise engage in party politics are liable to expulsion.
- Students whose parents or guardians obstruct the smooth functioning of the school or adversely affect the academic atmosphere through their acts or omissions may be dismissed from the school.
- Smoking; bringing or consuming alcohol or narcotic drugs; disrespect towards staff; bad moral influence; contempt of authority; bringing unwanted material in print or any other format; or wilfully damaging school property may lead to dismissal.
4. Assessment, Examinations & Promotion
The academic session is divided into three major terms: First Term, Second Term and Third Term. Student performance is measured through Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) programmes, and a Cumulative Achievements booklet is maintained by each teacher.
- A student’s absence from an examination will be considered as having failed unless the absence is established to be due to illness. No re-examination will be conducted after the stipulated date.
- Requests to send pupils home early after class tests, Formative Assessments, Summative Assessments or similar assessments will be automatically declined.
- Promotion will be granted on an average basis of 35% in the First Terminal Examination, 35% in the Second Terminal Examination and 50% in the Final Examination. The overall average should be 40% or above in each subject.

First Term: June, 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Second Term: October, 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Third Term: February, 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
5. School Fees
- Fees should be paid strictly according to the prescribed schedule.
- If payment is delayed, parents will have to pay the fees together with a late fee of ₹250 per month.
6. Bus Rules & Bus Fees
- The school provides five buses to transport children from home to school and back each day. Parents are requested to finalize their ward’s bus stop.
- Bus fees are collected twice a year: the first payment in June and the second payment in October.
- Students must behave appropriately on the bus and obey the conductors and drivers to ensure the safety of themselves and other students.
- Requests for a change of bus or additional stops will not be entertained.
7. Rules of Discipline
- Punctuality and regular attendance, proper uniform including ID card, sincere effort in homework and assignments, and polite behaviour inside and outside school are expected. Parents’ full cooperation is expected. Students not in proper uniform may be asked to go home.
- Pupils must stand and greet teachers who enter the classroom and stand when the teacher leaves.
- Honesty is expected. Found articles should be handed to the Principal, Vice Principal or school office. Lost articles may be enquired about at the office.
- Students are answerable to school authorities for their conduct inside and outside school. Misbehaviour in public places or conveyances may justify dismissal.
- Students must attend school neatly dressed in the proper uniform. Untidy clothes, torn shoes and rubber slippers are not permitted.
- Running, playing or shouting inside classrooms and verandas is not allowed.
- Students are expected to converse in the appropriate campus language while in school and while wearing school attire.
- Foul language, obscene gestures, racial, ethnic or religious slurs, and disrespectful language or actions are not tolerated.
- Students must not skip classes or play truant and must wear their identity cards during school hours.
- Students should not loiter on campus after school hours and should return home promptly.
- Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, defiance or disrespect towards staff may justify suspension or dismissal.
- The Principal may, in the interest of the school and without assigning a reason, ask a parent to remove a child at or before the end of the current term.
- Pupils may not leave school premises without permission from the Principal or Vice Principal.
- No fine or collection for any purpose may be made without the Principal’s permission.
- During a teacher’s absence from the class, students must obey the appointed Prefect or Monitor and maintain good order.
- Damage to school property will not be condoned. Stringent disciplinary measures may be taken, and parents will be responsible for repair or replacement expenses.
- All students are expected to participate in the games programme and physical training unless medically unfit and exempted by the Principal.
- As English is the medium of instruction, students are expected to speak in English at all times.
- The school takes precautionary measures for student safety. In the event of a sports injury or other injury on campus, the school cannot bear the medical expense.
- The school has CCTV installation. Students may be monitored, and suspicious incidents may be investigated and acted upon based on CCTV playback.
- Students are strictly forbidden from creating WhatsApp groups or engaging in other social-media activities such as Facebook or Instagram for such purposes.
- Students are not allowed to come to school in self-driven motor vehicles.
8. Leave Rules & Attendance
- Pupils absent on the first or last day of any term, or absent for ten consecutive days without permission, will have their names removed from the school register and will be considered for re-admission only if a vacancy exists and the usual admission fees are paid.
- Prior permission from the Principal should be obtained for leave, except in unforeseen circumstances for which an authenticated reason should be furnished by the parents or guardians. Granting leave is entirely at the discretion of the Principal.
- Absence must be supported by a leave letter from the parent or guardian. If illness lasts more than three days, the leave application must be accompanied by a medical certificate from a registered doctor approved by the school.
- Parents should inform the school office about long leave for marriage, vacation or family functions; such leave is highly discouraged.
- If a child has an infectious disease, parents should keep the child at home until recovery and submit a medical certificate on return.
9. General Rules
- While every care is taken to prevent accidents, the Management will not be liable for injuries and accidents sustained by pupils in the course of everyday activities.
- The school cannot be held responsible for the security of pupils before and after school hours and is not responsible for children who stay back independently to participate in sports or games.
- The school is not responsible for goods lost. Students are therefore advised not to bring valuable articles such as expensive pens, watches or gold ornaments.
- Pupils are not permitted to engage school teachers as private tutors.
- A Conduct Certificate issued when a student leaves the school will depend on the student’s behaviour and compliance with school rules during their school career.
- Parents are requested not to celebrate birthdays lavishly at school. Distribution of return gifts is not permitted. Students from PRE-KG to Std V may wear modest civil dress on their birthday.
- Students are not permitted to wear jewellery. Religious symbols, if worn, should not be obvious.
- Students are not allowed to apply Mehendi or tattoos on any part of the body.
- Mobile phones, iPads, MP3 players, cameras and similar devices are strictly forbidden on the school campus.
- Any electronic device capable of communication, photography or recording is strictly forbidden.
- The school discourages plastic items on campus as the campus is a plastic-free zone.
10. Recommendations & Guidelines for Parents
- Parents are requested to ensure that their wards attend school punctually.
- Parents should ensure that those coming to take their wards home are at school promptly at dismissal time.
- Parents are requested to leave the school campus promptly after dropping off their wards.
- Relatives, domestic helpers or others should not be sent to pick up a ward without an authorization letter.
- Parents are not permitted to enter classrooms, see their children or meet teachers during school hours without the Principal’s permission. Teachers may be met on working days after prior appointment.
- For emergencies, parents should contact the school office first.
- Parents should check the school diary every day to ensure assignments are completed and duly signed.
- Parents are expected to support regularity, discipline and daily study. In case of illness or contagious disease, parents are advised not to send children for class tests or examinations. No retest is provided for missed tests or examinations due to absence; final results will be settled on the basis of term work and general performance.
- There is no half-day leave for students. A pupil should either attend the entire working day or remain at home. Requests to send pupils home early after class tests and similar activities will be automatically declined.
- Parents are requested to ensure that children have breakfast before leaving for school.
- Parents should pack a simple, healthy snack, beverage and food for interval and lunch times.
- To avoid disparity among students, parents are requested not to celebrate birthdays lavishly or distribute return gifts. Only inexpensive sweets may be distributed. PRE-KG to Std V students may wear modest civil dress on birthdays.
- Parents and wards are expected to follow traffic rules.
- Parents are advised to keep vehicles out of the school area or park safely at the side of the pavement for the safety of schoolchildren.
- As English is the medium of instruction, parents are encouraged to support regular English conversation at home to help children follow classes easily and intelligently.
Private Tuition
Students are not permitted to engage any school teacher for private tuition.
11. Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction is English, with equal emphasis being given to proficiency in Telugu and Hindi.
